Honor Community Health is a 501c3 Federally Qualified Health Center co-located within 20 locations. Our mission is to provide for the health and wellness needs of the underserved of Oakland County through the provision of comprehensive, integrated primary, behavioral health, and dental care. The EMT at Honor Community Health (HCH) is essential to our high-performing healthcare team. This non-exempt position reports to the Lead Medical Assistant, Practice Manager, or Director of Health Center Operations depending on the position location. The EMT provides direct and indirect patient care while assisting clinicians in delivering evidence-based, patient-centered medical care. The EMT is also responsible for completing general office duties and patient records and monitoring various clinical processes.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a healthcare environment
• Experience cleaning office space
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of general principles of medicine as can be derived from an EMT or paramedic training program.
• Postsecondary certificate (EMTs);
  Associate’s degree (Paramedics).
• Certification and state license required.
• BLS Certified through American Heart Association.
• 6 + months in a similar clinical position is required.
• Strong computer skills utilizing
  • Electronic health record (Next Gen preferred)
  • Microsoft Office
