We are currently hiring a dedicated Ophthalmic Medical Assistant to support a high-volume ophthalmic practice focused on providing quality and compassionate care to patients. Paid training is provided, so no prior experience is required.

• Obtain and document patient history.
• Determine visual acuity.
• Perform automated refraction.
• Administer eye drops, ointments, and irrigating solutions as ordered.
• Perform office duties and clinical tasks, including entering data into EMR.
• Provide patient services.
• Maintain equipment and instruments.
• Travel to other offices as required, with reliable transportation.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise independent decision‑making.
• Seek instruction when knowledge gaps exist.
• Recognize inconsistencies.

• Graduation from an accredited high school.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Flexible with traveling to various locations.
• Commitment to learning and growth in an evolving field.
• Passion for the medical field or science.
• Team orientation in a fast‑paced environment.
