Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Machine Maintenance Technician will perform scheduled preventive maintenance task and repairs on a wide variety of manufacturing equipment.

  • Service the filtration and lube systems of shop air compressor systems.
  • Pump and properly dispose of waste oils and coolants in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities.
  • May assist with light and medium rigging, equipment leveling, air plumbing and connections to infrastructure services when needed.
  • Maintain an up-to-date Excel spreadsheet tracking onsite fluid inventory and coordinating with vendors to reorder supplies as needed.
  • Support more experienced maintenance staff with tasks such as disassembling, relocating, and reassembling equipment.
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks are performed safely and in accordance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required
    • Relevant certifications or technical training in industrial maintenance is a plus.
  • 1 year of experience working with basic Machine Maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in understanding how mechanical and electrical systems work.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Effectively communicates with team members, engineers, cell specialist, and all levels of management.
  • Good time-management skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work overtime or weekends to address unexpected maintenance issues.
  • Responsible for and accountable for product safety and the quality of work, including, as a minimum, all elements defined in the Company’s Quality Policy.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
