• The Controls Technician is responsible for completing jobs relating to machine controls on-time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of customer needs
• Responsible for working with multiple departments from concept through release phase, with accountability for project execution
• Provide technical support to external and internal customers
• Perform electrical hardware and software design of customized solutions based on engineering principles
• Monitor project workflow and support resources to ensure timely delivery of projects
• Excellent customer communication, leadership and teamwork skills
• As needed, travel to customer sites for installation and startup support of custom machinery and automation

• Requires a bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent professional experience, BSEE preferred
• Minimum 3-years of controls experience with increasing responsibility and duties
• Strong knowledge of control and electrical system design and its application in automated industrial systems
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
• Proficient with MS Office applications
• Proficient with AutoCAD
• Proficient with current and legacy PLC and HMI platforms, including but not limited to, Allen Bradley and Siemens
• Technical aptitude and understanding of industrial equipment and machinery
• Knowledge of presses and press automation preferred
