- The Controls Technician is responsible for completing jobs relating to machine controls on-time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of customer needs
- Responsible for working with multiple departments from concept through release phase, with accountability for project execution
- Provide technical support to external and internal customers
- Perform electrical hardware and software design of customized solutions based on engineering principles
- Monitor project workflow and support resources to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Excellent customer communication, leadership and teamwork skills
- As needed, travel to customer sites for installation and startup support of custom machinery and automation
- Requires a bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent professional experience, BSEE preferred
- Minimum 3-years of controls experience with increasing responsibility and duties
- Strong knowledge of control and electrical system design and its application in automated industrial systems
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
- Proficient with MS Office applications
- Proficient with AutoCAD
- Proficient with current and legacy PLC and HMI platforms, including but not limited to, Allen Bradley and Siemens
- Technical aptitude and understanding of industrial equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of presses and press automation preferred
