, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality and precision of our products, fixtures, and tools. This position is a blend of hands‑on inspection work and collaboration with engineering teams to maintain and improve product quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct various quality audits throughout the department, including receiving inspections of incoming components, in‑process inspections during production, and final inspections of completed tools prior to customer delivery.
  • Support document control by ensuring proper change management, including revisions, dates, and required approvals.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams with internal and external quality audits as required, providing detailed feedback and corrective action plans to address quality issues.
  • Record, compile, and monitor non‑conformances. Communicate quality issues and non‑conformities to the quality and manufacturing teams to ensure prompt corrective action.
  • Adhere to company policies and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and improve overall production efficiency.
  • Assist in the calibration and maintenance of inspection and testing equipment, to ensure accuracy during quality audits.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Receiving inspection:
  • Ensure received components and material are unpacked and examined.
  • Reject damaged items, record shortages, document findings.
  • Prepare NCM reports and escalate findings to rectify damages and shortages.
  • In‑Process inspection:
  • Perform layout inspection on product, fixtures or tools as required.
  • Communicate any drawing discrepancies and/or deficiencies to the Quality Engineer.
  • Evaluate completed inspection programs to confirm accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness in reducing processing time and cost.
  • Pre‑delivery inspection:
  • Conduct comprehensive pre‑delivery audits of AOB tools to ensure compliance with customer specifications, engineering drawings, and company quality standards.
  • Ensure that all PDI documentation and records are accurately completed and maintained for audit purposes.
  • Review and verify that all production and quality documentation is in place, correct, and up to date before shipment.
  • Education & Skills Requirements:
  • HS Diploma or GED preferred. Associate degree or technical certification is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in quality auditing or inspection, preferably in the manufacturing of automation tools or industrial equipment.
  • Certifications:

    ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, or other relevant quality certifications preferred. Willingness to participate in continuing education courses and capability to become certified within 18 months.
  • Strong understanding of quality standards, audit processes, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently while adhering to tight deadlines.
  • Requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and thorough knowledge of quality assurance practices.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control tools and inspection methods (e.g., gauges, calipers, micrometers).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective documentation and reporting.
  • Problem‑solving skills with the ability to assess and resolve quality issues proactively.
  • Proficient in MS Office suite including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint and Excel.
  • Work Environment:
    This position operates in a plant and manufacturing environment. This is a safety sensitive role which works around moving equipment.

    Work type & Expected hours of work:
    Regularly works on‑site at local Paslin locations. This position is for regular, full‑time work and may require coming in early, working late, or working on weekends to meet the needs of the business.
