Concrete/Asphalt cutting jobs involveoperating equipment to saw, drill, or score concrete. This job willbe outdoor construction work in a non-temperature-controlledenvironment. Candidates selected must be punctual, responsible, andhonest, stand and walk on concrete up to 100% of workday, and mustpass a pre-employment and background check. This is a seasonal job.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Control traffic passing near, in, or around work zones.
• Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
• Read and interpret plans, instructions, and specifications to determine work activities
• Preparation of concrete surfaces using brooms, grinders, orother power equipment
• Operate, read, and maintain concrete cutting equipment such ashand saws and walk behind self-propelled saws
• Able to lift & move 45lbs or more
• Other duties may be assigned by management as needed to meet production needs

Qualifications:

• Solid experience with concrete sawing, cutting and/or removal
• Must possess a valid chauffeur driver’s license and have agood driving history.
• Willing to work in weather conditions that may be adverse (hot/cold/rain)
• Ability to workdays/nights/weekends or out of town if necessary
• Must be able to operate some equipment including but not limited to:
  Concrete saws, floor grinders, shop vacuums, anglegrinders, basic power tools (drills, miter saws, Sawzall).
• Basic math and reading comprehension skills
• Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch
• Required to adhere to all safety rules and regulations
