Diesel Technician (Maintenance)
Wiers Fleet Partners | Pontiac, MI | Full Time | $30 - $40 per hour | Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Paid Uniforms, Paid Vacation, Bonus Plan
OverviewAs a Diesel Technician at Wiers, you will handle a diverse range of repair and maintenance work on heavy‑duty trucks and equipment, perform comprehensive DOT inspections, preventive maintenance services, electronic repairs, advanced engine diagnostics, maintain quality standards while following safety protocols, document work accurately, communicate with service advisors, and support team operations while mentoring newer technicians.
What You’ll Do- Diagnose, evaluate, and repair major components of heavy‑duty trucks and equipment.
- Perform comprehensive DOT inspections and preventive maintenance services.
- Execute electronic repairs and advanced engine diagnostics.
- Maintain quality standards while following all safety protocols.
- Document work accurately and communicate effectively with service advisors.
- Support team operations and mentor newer technicians.
Required Experience & Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL certification preferred).
- Minimum 3 yearsलक diesel technician experience.
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities.
- Physical capability to perform repairs and lift heavy components.
Preferred Qualifications
- ASE Certifications (PM, الحيوانات, electrical, etc.).
