Overview
Title:
Sr. Mobile Application Developer.
Location:
Pontiac, MI. Duration: 3 Months Contract.
The Mobile Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining mobile applications that provide County users with secure and reliable access to services across multiple platforms. This role includes optimizing mobile performance, troubleshooting issues, and deploying new features. A key component of the assignment involves installing and configuring a proof-of-concept TAK Server within the County’s network, integrating it with TAKAware on iOS and ATAK on Android to enable real-time location sharing among user groups.
The developer will also integrate the TAK Server with the CLEMIS CAD system to display live incidents, unit statuses, and unit locations within the mobile applications. Ensuring secure, reliable, CJIS-compliant connections and supporting the effort to secure the application behind OKTA are essential responsibilities.
- Hands-on experience developing, testing, and deploying mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Strong background in mobile performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Experience installing, configuring, and integrating TAK Server environments.
- Familiarity with ATAK and TAKAware mobile applications.
- Experience integrating mobile systems with CAD platforms, preferably CLEMIS.
- Ability to work with real-time data sets such as live incidents, unit statuses, and unit locations.
- Understanding of secure mobile communication standards, including CJIS compliance.
- Experience implementing authentication and security controls, ideally with OKTA.
- Strong knowledge of API integration, backend connectivity, and mobile data synchronization.
