Group Accounts Assistant | Care Home Group | 30hrs p.w | £26-30k pro rata
Role: Group Accounts Assistant
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 (based on experience, pro rata)
Location: Regional Office, Llantrisant, CF72 8QZ
Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant looking for your next opportunity with a well established company where your work really matters?
We're looking for an organised and detail-focused Group Accounts Assistant to join our regional finance team. You'll play an important role in keeping our financial records accurate, our ledgers up to date and our suppliers and customers supported.
If you're confident working across sales and purchase ledgers, have strong Sage experience and take pride in getting the detail right, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
Working as part of our regional team, you'll help ensure the day-to-day financial operations of the group run smoothly and accurately.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Processing purchase invoices and supplier payments
• Raising sales invoices and managing customer accounts
• Reconciling supplier and customer statements
• Completing bank reconciliations and general bookkeeping
• Assisting with month-end processes
• Resolving account queries promptly and professionally
• Maintaining accurate and well-organised financial records

What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is confident working independently, highly organised, and comfortable in managing competing priorities.
You'll need:
• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
• Practical experience of both sales and purchase ledger functions
• Strong working knowledge of Sage accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
• The ability to organise your workload and meet deadlines
• A reliable, professional and collaborative approach

Required Criteria- Experience working within a similar role within finance, accounting, or financial administration environment
- Proficient use of finance software, SAGE and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage priorities effectively and to meet deadlines
- Experience with in a healthcare, pharmacy, social care, or care home environment
- Experience with oversight of fellow colleagues in financial processes
