Payroll Manager - FTC

Our Client is hiring for a reputed client to lead the end-to-end payroll function across the group, working closely with finance and operational teams across multiple sites.

What you'll be doing:

* Own the end-to-end monthly payroll process across multiple group companies, ensuring accurate, timely payment

* Administer workplace pensions, including employee enrolments, contributions, and NEST auto-enrolment compliance

* Ensure HMRC payroll compliance across PAYE, National Insurance, SSP, SMP, and relevant pension requirements

* Maintain and reconcile payroll records, deductions, benefits, pensions, and payroll control accounts

* Produce payroll reports, analysis and management information for senior leadership and finance teams

* Be the primary contact for payroll queries from employees, managers, pension providers and external bodies

* Manage statutory submissions including FPS, EPS, P60s and P11

Ds (and other required reporting)

* Support month-end and year-end activities with payroll journals, reconciliations and supporting documentation

* Identify process, control and system improvements to boost efficiency and accuracy

* Support audits and ensure payroll records meet company policy, regulatory standards and data protection expectations
