The Royal Mint Experience are looking for Tour guides to join their team to work part time hours. Hours vary: 8:30 am to 9:30 pm on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and school holidays (with the first tour at 9 am and the last at 8 pm), and 3:00 pm to 9:30 pm on weekdays (with the first tour at 3 pm and the last at 8 pm).

Description

Stafforce are looking to employ a number of Tour Guides to work a minimum of 6 hours per week. You will be required to be flexible and be able to work between Monday - Sunday including evenings on a rota based system.

Key Accountabilities:

· Embrace the idea of 'the team' and actively work to ensure the success of the attraction. A conscientious attitude, ability to follow the script given and be open to receiving feedback from the management team.

· Ensure you are always punctual ready to start working at the time your shift starts.

· Ensure the highest standards of presentation are maintained throughout the attraction at all times.

· Be courteous and professional to guests at all times.

· Observe and report to the General/Duty Manager immediately any incidents which may affect the presentation, other employees or guests of the visitor attraction.

Person Specification:

Essential

· Experience in retail, using tills, stock replen

· Energetic, Happy, outgoing

· Ability to engage members of the public

· Ability to gather an audience and public speaking

· Outstanding Customer Service

· Creativity and Enthusiasm

· A flexible, hands-on, can-do approach

· Initiative and positivist

· An excellent work-ethic and desire to develop skills

Desirable

· Experience in amateur dramatics

· Previous

Experience of working in the Tourism Sector

· Experience in group management to maintain tight booking times

· Ability to speak a foreign language

· Awareness of health and safety

· Storytelling/ Interest in History

Part-time hours:
Minimum 6 hours per week
