Senior ServiceNow Developer

Location: Talbot Green

We are seeking an experienced Senior Service Now Developer for a Central Government client on an initial 6-month contract. This role requires active SC Clearance and you will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing Service Now solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and alignment with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities Design and develop Service Now solutions across multiple modules Deliver advanced JavaScript development within the Service Now platform Lead on UI customisation, including UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and Service Portal customisation Develop and maintain Service Now scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, etc.) Configure and extend Service Now data models, including tables, relationships, and CMDB structures Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practice and platform governance Support testing, deployment, and knowledge transfer activities Essential Skills & Experience Strong experience as a Senior Service Now Developer Advanced JavaScript development skills Extensive experience with Service Now UI customisation In-depth understanding of Service Now data models and platform architecture Proven experience with Service Now scripting, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and integrations Experience working in secure/government environments Active SC Clearance (mandatory) You will be required to attend site in Milton Keynes 1-2 days per week.
