Job Summary
This key role within the Torfaen Borough Team in Primary Care & Community Division provides comprehensive administrative and secretarial support. The post holder works independently to deliver professional secretarial and administration services within the team.
Responsibilities include coordination of meetings and agendas, project support for strategic plans and service improvement projects, development of performance information, initiative-based project management tasks, and working as a fixed‑term secondment until 31 March 2027 (subject to prior permission from current line manager).
Main Duties- Provide personal assistant support to the Head of Service, Assistant Head of Service, and Senior Nurse.
- Coordinate and service meetings, collaborate with other agencies, and produce professional documents.
- Prioritise workload and resolve conflicting diary requirements.
- Create and maintain an IT filing structure for easy document retrieval.
- Arrange internal and external meetings, workshops, and conferences, including travel and accommodation logistics.
- Attend meetings, take minutes, and record actions where necessary.
- Follow up on actions and coordinate future meetings.
- Order and receip it goods, process requisition invoices and payment orders, staying updated on legislation.
