Quantity Surveyor (Structural Steel) (£55,000 - £65,000 + Company Benefits + Progression + Training) – Office based in Pontypool, Monmouthshire.

Are you a Quantity Surveyor or similar from a construction background looking for a collaborative role with a technical workload? This company has been delivering structural steel solutions across industrial and commercial projects since the 2010s and has grown to over 50 employees with multi‑million‑pound turnover.

In this office‑based role you will work closely with the estimating team during the pre‑construction stage, supporting BOQs and tender submissions before taking ownership of project cost control throughout delivery. The role involves managing construction budgets, tracking project expenditure, carrying out cost evaluations, and liaising with project teams and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered cost‑effectively.

• Support BOQs and tender submissions during the pre‑construction phase.
• Manage project budgets and track expenditure.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Support cost control and commercial performance across projects.
• Ensure project delivery is cost‑effective and aligned with budgeted figures.

• Quantity Surveyor or similar qualification.
• Construction background.
• Able to commute to Pontypool.

Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 (subject to experience, qualifications and skill set). Includes company benefits, progression and specialist training opportunities. Office based – Monday to Friday, 8am‑5pm.
