Teaching Assistant – Pontypool

Salary from £93 per day.

Education Supply Pool is a PAYE employer that supplies teaching assistants in schools throughout Pontypool and surrounding areas. We are seeking candidates with a minimum of NVQ Level 2, CACHE Level 2, BTEC, BA (Hons) Education or equivalent experience in an educational setting.

• Assist with preparing lessons across the curriculum, considering varied student abilities.
• Follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude in the classroom.
• Provide supporting activities while ensuring hygiene and safety rules are respected.
• Maintain a supportive and clean classroom environment.
• Be attentive to the unique needs of each student and identify appropriate solutions when issues arise.
• Collaborate with teachers and families to communicate effectively.

• Minimum of three months experience in a UK primary or secondary classroom, or as a teaching assistant.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and support classroom staff.

• Pay rate of at least £93 per day.
