This post offers the opportunity to work at a full‑time or two part‑time capacity as an Educational Psychologist within Torfaen Local Authority. The role is part of a small, supportive team that follows a trauma‑informed ethos and a solution‑focused consultation model. You will support schools with individual, group and systemic interventions, promote inclusion and enhance achievement, and provide supervision and ELSA training as required.
- Provide whole‑systems support to schools and settings
- Lead individual and group consultations
- Deliver training and supervision, including ELSA sessions
- Improve student outcomes and emotional wellbeing
- Work within a trauma‑informed framework to support vulnerable children and young people
Applicants must be fully qualified Educational Psychologists recognised by the HCPC. The role also welcomes applications from Trainee EPs in their 3rd year of the doctoral training programme.
Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential. Applications may be submitted in English or Welsh.
