Family Placement Apprentice

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Placement Team within Children and Family Services as an apprentice. Working within a professional and supportive environment, you’ll play an important role in helping identify and secure suitable foster and residential placements for children and young people.

In this varied role, you’ll support placement processes by maintaining accurate records, assisting with placement searches, and communicating with foster carers and external providers. You’ll gain hands‑on experience using systems and supporting the day‑to‑day work of the duty team, helping to ensure placements are arranged efficiently and effectively.

You are looking for individuals with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn. Whether you are starting your career or looking to retrain, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop practical administrative skills, gain valuable experience within children’s services, and complete a recognised apprenticeship qualification.
