Thank you for your interest in the position of Behaviour Support Officer at Abersychan School. This role involves coordinating provision, maintaining administration, supervising and supporting students who are in Internal Exclusion. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, well organised and positively embrace working with students in a challenging context.
Abersychan School is an 11‑16 comprehensive school that serves an area of socio‑economic disadvantage, with 30% of students entitled to free school meals. The school currently has 720 students, 48 teachers and 46 members of support staff. Our aims are delivered through a strong pastoral system, commitment to high quality learning experiences and an extensive range of sporting, cultural, musical and extra‑curricular activities.
