Due to increasing pupil numbers, Maendy Primary is seeking to appoint two highly motivated and inspirational Level 2 Teaching Assistants to work within our Learning Resource Base, supporting pupils who have severe and complex learning difficulties aged between 4 and 7 years of age. They should be reliable, resilient and flexible and work well as part of a team.

Maendy Primary School is a nurturing and caring school at the heart of the community. The school hosts two local authority ALN Resource Bases, a BESD provision, and a Nursery provision. The successful candidate will be joining Maendy Primary at a very exciting time. We moved into our new school building in May last year, a development which has provided us with the opportunity to expand our school family and increase pupil numbers.

• Experience of children, including children with special educational needs
• Experience in attending to personal care needs of children
• Ability to support pupil's emotional wellbeing / development
• The ability to follow instruction and have a desire to further their professional development
• Enthusiasm and a conscientious approach
• The ability to embrace change and contribute to school development
