Sports Coaches & Youth Workers Wanted - Schools Across Pontypool

Location:

Pontypool (Torfaen). Competitive daily rates from £90 per day (dependent on experience). Full-time, part-time, and flexible opportunities. September
2026 start – long‑term & supply roles.

• Support pupils in the classroom and around the school
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement with learning
• Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assist teachers in creating a positive learning environment
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff

• Experience working with children or young people is essential (coaching, youth work, mentoring, volunteering or similar)
• Positive, energetic and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Welsh‑speaking desirable but not essential
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
