About the Role
We are excited to be recruiting a passionate and adaptable Secondary School Teacher to join one of our welcoming partner schools in Pontypool.
You'll inspire and support learners across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential opportunities in Key Stage 5), delivering engaging lessons that help students build confidence and achieve their full potential.

What We're Looking For
We welcome applications from individuals who:
- Have experience-or are eager to gain experience-teaching in a secondary school setting (KS3 and KS4 essential; KS5 desirable)
- Can plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Create an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment for all learners
- Demonstrate strong classroom management
, behaviour strategies, and confident communication skills - Show commitment to student progress, wellbeing, and achievement
- Have a genuine passion for education and want to make a positive, lasting impact
Requirements
To be considered for the role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS),
or be in the process of completing your teacher training/induction
If you don't yet have all the necessary documentation, Teaching Personnel can support you in obtaining:
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
- Level 2 Safeguarding training
- Minimum two recent professional references covering the 24 months
