Are you a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children or young people with additional learning needs?

We're recruiting a dedicated Welsh Speaking ALN Teaching Assistant for opportunities across Torfaen. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced ALN TA or someone with transferable experience who is passionate about helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and learning.

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with ALN
• Support pupils through the medium of Welsh where required
• Assist teachers with learning activities and classroom routines
• Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence
• Build positive relationships with pupils and school staff
• Support pupils to access learning and reach their individual goals

• Support Workers

• Sports Coaches
• Childcare Practitioners
• Psychology, Education, Social Work & Health & Social Care Students/Graduates
• Scouts & Guides Leaders
• Cadet Instructors
• Volunteers with experience supporting children or young people

• Fluent Welsh speaker - essential
• Experience working with children or young people is essential
• ALN/SEND experience is desirable
• Patient, resilient and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
