Salary: £28,000 - £31,000 per annum
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Pattern: 4.5-day working week (early finish on Friday)

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a busy and well-structured finance department based in Pontypool
. This role would suit someone with solid purchase ledger experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.

• Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately

• Matching, batching, and coding invoices

• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies

• Managing supplier queries by phone and email

• Assisting with weekly and monthly payment runs

• Supporting month-end processes

• Providing ad-hoc support to the wider finance team

• Previous experience in a purchase ledger/accounts payable role

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Confident communication skills

• Good Excel and finance system experience

• Salary £28,000 - £31,000

• 4.5-day working week with an early Friday finish
