Role: Service Manager

Location: Blaenau Gwent

Hours: Your shift pattern will include weekends and sleep‑ins

Salary: £32,669pa and our sleep‑in shifts at £60 per night; travel expenses paid at 45p per mile.

As Service Manager you’ll be responsible for the day‑to‑day operation and management of 3 supported living services, as well as proactively engaging with the continued development of the service. You’ll provide motivational leadership and direction to your team, enabling them to provide quality, person‑centred support to the people we support.

You’ll carry out frequent reviews of the support requirements provided, including service delivery plans, support plans, progress log and risk assessments following the principles and practices of person‑centred and relationship‑centred Active Support. You’ll manage a team of support workers with responsibility for all aspects of team management and development.

Above all else, your focus will be on achieving the highest levels of support and independence for the people we support to make everyday remarkable.

• experience supporting people with learning difficulties in a social care setting
• Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care (or actively working towards)
• a strong caring nature to support others to live an enriched life and fulfil their potential
