Job Overview
We currently have a vacancy for a Soft Facilities Supervisor at Prince Phillip Hospital. The post holder will be responsible on a day‑to‑day basis for ensuring a high standard of Cleaning/Housekeeping Services in accordance with Soft Facilities Work Specifications, Performance Standards and Operational Policies. The holder will also act on behalf of the Assistant Operations Manager as required.
Responsibilities- Ensure quality Cleaning/Housekeeping Services complying with standards and policies.
- Act on behalf of the Assistant Operations Manager where necessary.
- Monitor sickness, allocate annual leave and manage disciplinary issues.
- Maintain accurate records using databases and spreadsheets.
- Provide full training for new staff.
- Relevant experience of large‑scale cleaning operations.
- Relevant qualification such as City and Guilds 7643 in Cleaning Science is an advantage.
- Strong organisational and record‑keeping skills.
- Ability to work flexibly between 12:00 pm and 8:00 pm, and wherever demand requires.
- Good communication skills; speaking Welsh is desirable, but English is acceptable.
Shift hours: 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Flexibility is essential to meet operational needs.
