Tesco Shift Leader - Superstore

Availability Window

We require the Shift Leader to be available during the following periods each week.

• Sunday: 14:45 – 22:00
• Monday: 04:45 – 14:30
• Tuesday: 18:15 – 23:30
• Wednesday: 04:45 – 13:45
• Thursday: 18:00 – 23:30
• Friday: 12:00 – 21:00
• Saturday: 14:30 – 23:30

Pay Rate
Our base pay starts at £14.76 per hour, increasing to £15.97 for stores located inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on the site.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you prefer fewer hours, we also have opportunities for a minimum of 12 hours.

Shift Leader role
As a Shift Leader you will:

• Work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a wide variety of products.
• Own duty shifts and coordinate the team to deliver a clean, well-stocked store that exceeds customer expectations.
• Be there for customers, listening to them and helping to ensure they leave the store with what they came for.
• Look for ways to improve service, including coaching colleagues and giving feedback to the team.
• Guide and support colleagues in-store, ensuring it stays a safe place to work and shop.
• Maintain a great understanding of how the store is performing and assist managers in delivering any actions that help improve the running of the store.
• Lead from the front, setting a great example for colleagues in everything you do.

Addressing customers is at the core of everything we do. A Shift Leader plays a pivotal role in supporting the store team, keeping operations smooth and delivering an excellent customer experience.
