Hours:

30.00 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Saturday, 14:00 to 20:00;
Sunday 12:00 to 18:00. Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Saturday and Sunday, according to a local rota/plan. There has never been a more exciting time to join us! We are reinventing Royal Mail for the future and now is a perfect time to join us on that journey.

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you will be part of a team of multi drop drivers. You will deliver much more than parcels by preparing your van and workload for the day and using route-planning technology tools to ensure each parcel gets to the right place at the right time. You deliver for the people and help keep customers days a little brighter.

• Deliver parcels in the assigned area as part of a multi-drop route
• Prepare your van and workload for the day
• Use route-planning technology tools to optimise deliveries
• Interact with customers, acting as a positive ambassador for Royal Mail
• Work in the afternoon and early evenings, including weekend shifts as required

• Upbeat, self-motivated and able to work independently
• Organised, punctual with great initiative
• Committed to delivering great customer service
• Comfortable interacting with customers and representing Royal Mail
• Happy to work in the afternoon and early evenings
• Enjoy a multi-drop driving role, delivering parcels across the week in the assigned area
• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

• Guaranteed hourly rate of £13.06 per hour (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours)
• Paid overtime with an enhanced rate of 1.25x for hours over 40 per week
• 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (adjusted to your working hours if below 40 hours a week)

For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-40 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 40 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.
