Site Agent

A leading regional contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Agent to join its growing rail infrastructure division.

The company delivers a wide range of rail and civil engineering projects throughout South Wales, including:

* Railway stations and associated infrastructure

* Underbridges and over bridges

* Embankments and earthworks

* Civil engineering and infrastructure works

* General rail-related construction projects

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within rail infrastructure or civil engineering, with a strong understanding of site management, health and safety, quality, programme delivery and subcontractor management. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded regional contracting group at an exciting time of growth, with a strong pipeline of projects across South Wales.

The Role:

* Manage day-to-day site operations and construction activities

* Lead and coordinate site teams and subcontractors

* Ensure works are delivered safely to programme and within budget

* Maintain high standards of quality and compliance

* Work closely with project management and commercial teams

* Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with relevant rail and construction standards

The Candidate:

* Previous experience as a Site Agent, Site Manager or similar

* Rail infrastructure and/or civil engineering experience

* Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management

* Excellent communication and leadership skills

* Relevant industry qualifications

* Rail experience and relevant competencies would be advantageous
