A leading regional contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Agent to join its growing rail infrastructure division.
The company delivers a wide range of rail and civil engineering projects throughout South Wales, including:
- Railway stations and associated infrastructure
- Underbridges and over bridges
- Embankments and earthworks
- Civil engineering and infrastructure works
- General rail-related construction projects
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within rail infrastructure or civil engineering, with a strong understanding of site management, health and safety, quality, programme delivery and subcontractor management. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and highly regarded regional contracting group at an exciting time of growth, with a strong pipeline of projects across South Wales.
The Role:- Manage day-to-day site operations and construction activities
- Lead and coordinate site teams and subcontractors
- Ensure works are delivered safely to programme and within budget
- Maintain high standards of quality and compliance
- Work closely with project management and commercial teams
- Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with relevant rail and construction standards
- Previous experience as a Site Agent, Site Manager or similar
- Rail infrastructure and/or civil engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Relevant industry qualifications
- Rail experience and relevant competencies would be advantageous
