The Governing Body of Ysgol Ty Coch are seeking to appoint highly motivated Teaching Assistants to support the teachers and pupils on their journey.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with pupils with special educational needs.
  • Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver learning programmes.
  • Assist in personal care including feeding and changing, etc.
  • Implement various strategies as instructed by the class teacher.
  • Work as part of a team and maintain a positive atmosphere.
  • Support pupils by helping them make good progress and have memorable days.
Qualifications and qualities
  • Experience in a school is an advantage but not essential.
  • High aspirations for themselves, pupils and the school.
  • Dedication to improving the quality of life of children and their families.
  • Willing to learn how best to work with, play and teach children with additional learning needs.
