Our client, a reputable and leading primary school in Tonteg, Pontypridd, is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full‑time, long‑term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the foundation phase, assisting the class teacher in creating a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for children.

• Provide general classroom support to ensure smooth daily activities
• Work closely with the Class Teacher to deliver engaging lessons and activities
• Support the development of young children's social, emotional, and educational needs
• Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
• Help prepare classroom resources and materials as needed
• Encourage positive behaviour and inclusive participation among pupils

• Relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Prior experience supporting children within a primary school setting, particularly in foundation phase
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, student‑focused approach
• Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff, pupils, and parents
• Flexible, proactive, and committed to creating a positive learning environment
• Read, write, inc experience is desirable

Full‑time, long‑term role – Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
