Location: Torfaen, South Wales
Pay: 120-140 per day (depending on experience)
Job Type: Flexible Supply (Minimum 3 days per week)

Are you confident, reliable and passionate about supporting young people? We are currently recruiting enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Torfaen
. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced Teaching Assistants or anyone with experience working with young people who is looking for flexible work within education.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during the short-term absence of the teacher, ensuring pupils remain on task with the work that has been set while maintaining a positive and productive learning environment.

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain engaged with their learning.
• Support pupils in completing set work.
• Maintain a safe, positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Follow the school's safeguarding and behaviour policies at all times.

• Reliable, punctual and professional.
• Ideally has experience working with young people in a school, sports coaching, youth work, mentoring or similar setting.
• Confident managing classroom behaviour, including challenging behaviour.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Available to work a minimum of 3 days per week

• Adaptable and able to build positive relationships with students and staff.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Two professional references covering the last two years.
• Right to work in the UK.
