Job Description Summary
Raising invoices to both internal and external customers for engine overhaul and repair, piece part repair, working parties and associated sundry invoicing and billing duties.
Essential Responsibilities- Collating information from ERP system on costs of overhaul (engine, parts, etc.)
- Segregating costs into cost types for billing onto end customer
- Understanding and interpreting contract types to determine invoicing amounts
- Data interrogation and connecting with operational activity to ensure correct cost liquidation and invoicing to end customer
- Issuing invoices to customers across various contractual obligations including pre-induction, progress, initial and final invoices
- Working with other teams within the business to drive invoicing performance and improve cash generation
- Applying Lean principles such as standard work to identify and install continuous process improvement
- Performing daily, weekly and monthly duties across the team and processes on construction of reporting data and KPI
- Experience with in finance, working with contracts and customers
- Advanced Excel skills
- Good understanding of site finance processes
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to influence others and lead small teams
- Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
