My local authority based in South Wales is looking for someone to come in and hit the ground running as current officer is on sick leave. Please see below further details;
Responsibilities- 1. Providing advice and information on the range of grants provided in line with the Council’s Private Sector Renewal Policy and other services delivered by the team.
- 2. Administering the council’s mandatory and discretional grants regimes – primarily in relation to bathroom adaptations and stair lifts. Ensuring grant funded works comply with schedules and payments are administered efficiently and accurately.
- 3. Ensuring non-licensable HMO’s meet relevant statutory requirements.
- 1. Experience of Housing and Mandatory Grants legislation
- 2. Experience of housing assessments under the HHSRS
- 3. Proven technical skills in Housing and Grants
