To work as a Radiographer providing care for patients attending the general Radiology Department and to process images appropriately.
You will work without direct clinical supervision, but will report to the Senior/Superintendent Radiographers within the Department.
You will participate in the provision of an on‑call, emergency, or shift‑based radiographic service for the Health Board.
English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
Main duties of the job- Provide general radiographic care to patients in the Radiology Department.
- Process and manage imaging studies appropriately.
- Work independently without direct supervision, reporting to Senior/Superintendent Radiographers.
- Participate in on‑call, emergency, and shift‑based radiographic services.
- Support out‑of‑hours services within the general department.
- Operate at the Princess of Wales Hospital site.
- Engage in training and development opportunities and support role extension for Radiographers.
- BSc in Radiography or equivalent.
- HPC Registration.
- Relevant personal history of continuing professional development.
- Good communication skills – ability to liaise competently with stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
Salary: £32,557–£39,631 a year, pro rata.
