We have an exciting opportunity for a customer focused People and Relationship Advisors to join the newly formed People and Relationship Team within the Trust.
Acting in a generalist role supporting the development of effective people managers you will be key to the operational success of our vision in the People Strategy: 'Healthy People, Great Care, Inspirational Learning'.
This post is a fixed term/secondment for 18 months until 31st December 2027 to meet the needs of the service. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, you must obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying for this post.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post;
English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
o Provide a pro-active customer focused approach to coaching and developing effective people managers within the Trust
o Working collaboratively across the wider Workforce and OD Department to ensure operational delivery toward the Trust's People Strategy
o Support the People and Relationship Manager in providing excellent service to our divisions in all HR matters including, recruitment,disciplinary, sickness and grievance etc.
o Manage ER cases in partnership the Trust's People Managers, advising and coaching on best practise
o Support the development of the People and Relationship Assistants providing advice and guidance when required
o Deliver and develop training materials for managers in effective people management ensuring the putting people first ethos is embedded into practice
Qualifications and Knowledge- Educated to degree level or have the equivalent knowledge obtained via experience gained in working in an operational Workforce Role.
- CIPD level 5 Qualification or equivalent.
- Current evidence of CPD
- Willing to work towards CIPD Level 7
- Knowledge of NHS Terms and Conditions of Service
- Demonstrate a range of HR Advisory experience
- Experience in one or more areas of HR involving more complex issues / cases
- Demonstrate experience in investigating and advising in employment relations cases at disciplinary and other hearings
- Experience of delivering training to managers at all levels
- Experience of using HR Systems
- Experience of using ESR
- Trained Job matcher / evaluator
- Ability to deal with sensitive situations involving conflict and diplomacy
- Coaching skills or willing to undertake ILM level 3 in first line management coaching
- Able to demonstrate an awareness of an organisations political agenda.
- Ability to manage priorities and personal workloads and meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with all managers and staff at all levels both verbally and writing
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues and trade union partners.
- Ability to respond to unexpected changes and adopt a flexible approach.
- Ability to problem solve effectively.
- High level of confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and as an effective member of the immediate and wider WF team.
- Able to challenge decisions in a constructive way
- Able to show resilience and stamina under pressure
- Ability to travel between Trust sites as and when required
- Ability to speak Welsh to level 1 standard
