Mobile Cleaner

Overview

Key holder for access to the buildings or locking after the shift (if needed). To work in a team of two. Working a split shift mornings and late afternoons. Hours can vary between 5am to 9am and 3pm to 7.30pm. Hours will vary and applicants must be flexible. To cover vacancies, sickness and annual leave of staff.

• Cleaning of various buildings: toilet areas including sanitising all surfaces, toilets, sinks, hand dryers, pipes, cubicles, walls, doors and floors.
• Sanitising kitchen areas: work surfaces, sinks, floors and skirting boards.
• Offices: hoovering or mopping floors, sanitising desks and general cleaning of areas.
• Corridors: hoovering or mopping floors, skirting boards and window sills.
• Communal area cleaning: all flooring, skirting boards, window sills and hard furnishings.
• In some buildings a scrubber dryer may be provided.
• Cleaning of all internal areas of the school, including toilets, corridors, staff rooms, classrooms, school halls, indoor sports area/changing rooms, offices and communal areas.
• General cleaning tasks: sanitising toilets, sinks, flooring, soap dispensers, hand dryers, cubicles and pipework; hoovering or swiffing and mopping; cleaning skirting boards, window sills and hard furnishings such as shelves and desks.
• Sport areas/changing rooms: sanitising shower areas and cubicles.
• Staff rooms: sanitising sinks and work surface areas, floors and hard furnishings.
• Waste bins throughout buildings to be emptied.
• Specialised cleaning activities may be required sporadically, including deep house cleans in properties with hoarding or other circumstances (details to be explained in the interview).

• All relevant training will be given.
