Warehouse Operative

Overview

As an Afternoon shift Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for loading and unloading of vehicles, sortation and scanning of parcels into cages.

This is a great Temp to Perm opportunity after a successful 12 weeks of service with competitive rates of pay from £12.21 per hour.

The operation is open 6 days a week from Sunday to Friday, and we can accommodate any days of work that suits you. You can choose to work part time or full time; the choice is yours. This role is physically demanding and will involve moving parcels up to 30/40kg.

• Shifts usually start around 15:00 between Monday to Friday and finish around 21:00

• Unloading parcels from a trailer.
• Placing parcels onto a conveyor belt.
• Scanning and sorting parcels with handling/lifting of items of all sizes and weight.
• Working efficiently and effectively as part of a team.
• Ensuring scanning with the handheld terminal is completed accurately.
• Accurate completion of any relevant paperwork.
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy.
• Correctly sorting parcels into cages based on postcodes.
