Our client, a reputable franchise‑approved car dealer in Treforest, is seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional aiming to advance their career within a well‑established dealership group.

- Opportunity to enjoy a 40‑hour working week on a 4‑day rota, with a long weekend every week (Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, 7:00am – 6:00pm)
- Conduct fault diagnosis and large engine work, alongside completing routine servicing and repairs as a Vehicle Technician
- Ensure accurate reporting of vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance issues
- Maintain compliance with quality standards, health and safety procedures, and manufacturer guidelines
- Assist in diagnosing complex vehicle faults and supporting the workshop team
- Work towards team targets whilst producing high‑quality workmanship within a busy environment
- Adhere to all health & safety regulations and manufacturer procedures
- Further develop diagnostic skills; ideally hold a Diagnostic or Master Technician qualification
- Maintain a current UK driving licence and an active MOT licence is highly advantageous
- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- At least 3+ years of practical post‑qualification experience
- Strong diagnostic skills, with a preference for those qualified to Master Technician level
- Ability to work efficiently within a team and meet individual and team targets
- Committed, motivated, and capable of producing work of consistently high quality
- Residing within a reasonable commuting distance of Pontypridd
