We are currently looking for a confident and experienced vet to join our friendly team. We’re a welcoming and supportive group, and we’re keen to find someone who shares our values and passion for delivering high quality care.
The RoleThis is a sole charge position, so prior experience is essential. You will be joining our 24-hour clinic as part of the hospital’s dedicated night team, offering a varied and rewarding caseload, balanced with generous time off to support your work-life balance.
A typical rota consists of 7 nights on followed by 14 nights off, working 9pm–9am (12‑hour shifts). The role involves caring for inpatients within the hospital and seeing out‑of‑hours (OOH) emergency and A&E cases. You will be fully supported by a team of experienced night nurses throughout your shifts.
We are committed to delivering gold‑standard care and offer an exciting and diverse caseload that will support your ongoing clinical development. You will also benefit from access to a wide range of expertise and advanced equipment across the group, including:
- CT scanner
- Flexible and rigid endoscopy
- Digital radiography suites
- Ultrasound scanners
- Electrocautery and laparoscopy
- Advanced anaesthesia equipment
- Accommodation is not available for this role
- An ECC certificate is not essential but is desirable
- Full support can be provided for candidates wishing to pursue an ECC certificate in the future
- Salary: £65,000 (inclusive of additional holiday allowance payment)
