Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Research Assistant to join the Housing and Health Research Network at the University of South Wales on a 12-month, PBIAA-funded project (SWITCH to Net Zero Buildings Impact Delivery Fund, EPSRC).

The role will lead the development, delivery, and evaluation of simulation-based training to support professionals in the retrofit and net zero housing sectors. Working with academic, media, and industry partners, the postholder will co-produce and evaluate innovative, evidence-informed training solutions that build sector capability and support the transition to net zero housing.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-impact project that supports sector capacity building and advances the transition to net zero housing through applied research, innovation, and skills development.

This is a full-time, fixed term post for a period of 12 months.

For an informal conversation about this post please contact Dr Dan Bowers ().

If you are a successful candidate and this position will be your first professional services role at the University (or you are currently employed by PSS Ltd), you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales, which provides services to the University and Colleges.

We welcome applications in Welsh and English. Applications in Welsh will not be treated less favourably than those made in English.
