Overview

Customer Team Member

Location:

Commercial Street;
Tynant Beddau, Pontypridd, CF38 2DB

Pay: £12.60 per hour

Contract:

15 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent contract, part time

Working pattern: 9am‑2pm and 2pm‑10pm including weekends, to be discussed at interview

Responsibilities
  • Friendly and thoughtful service – put customers first: responding to queries, championing Co‑op products and Membership, delivering a great shopping experience
  • Work together to make everyone's day better – support store colleagues to solve problems for customers and members
  • Make sure the store is safe and legal – keep shelves stocked, ensure prices, dates and temperatures are correct
  • Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with colleagues so everyone learns together
  • Support the local community – get involved in activities and events

  • Genuine care for the needs of customers and members
  • Great people skills and ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Positive approach to change and problem solving
  • Flexibility to work a range of different shifts
