Are you looking to start your career in sales, business development and marketing while contributing to an exciting infrastructure business in Wales?
We're looking for a Sales, Business Development & Marketing Assistant to join the commercial team at ffei . This is a varied opportunity where you'll gain hands‑on experience across sales, marketing, business development, digital activity and events, while supporting projects that help grow ffei 's commercial reach.
About ffeiffei is Wales' newest infrastructure company, delivering a high-capacity, full-fibre network built alongside the Core Valley Lines rail electrification. As part of Transport for Wales, ffei is helping improve digital connectivity, including in some of Wales' hardest‑to‑reach communities, while supporting regional growth and prosperity.
What you'll be doingYou’ll work across a variety of commercial activities and projects, including:
- Researching and identifying prospective customers and new sales opportunities.
- Supporting market analysis, lead generation and business development activity.
- Maintaining the sales pipeline and CRM system, ensuring customer and sales information remains accurate.
- Supporting the planning and delivery of marketing campaigns.
- Helping coordinate conferences, sponsor ships, round tables and industry events.
- Working with external marketing, PR, social media, advertising and design partners.
- Supporting ffei 's website and wider digital presence.
- Monitoring the progress and performance of marketing activities.
- Building relationships with customers, suppliers and industry stakeholders.
- Representing ffei at networking opportunities and external events.
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and keen to develop a career within a commercial environment. Experience with in sales, marketing, business development or a customer-focused environment would be an advantage, as would exposure to CRM systems, events, campaigns or stakeholder engagement. An interest in Wales' economic, political and infrastructure landscape and Welsh language skills, or a willingness to learn Welsh, would also be welcomed

- Experience of working collaboratively and contributing to shared goals.
- The confidence to take responsibility and coordinate activities.
- An ability to analyse information and communicate findings clearly.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- A willingness to travel for meetings, networking opportunities and industry events when required.
This is an opportunity to build broad commercial experience across sales, business development and marketing while contributing to a growing Welsh infrastructure company.
