Overview
USW Therapy at The University of South Wales is seeking to appoint an Administrator to contribute to the delivery and development of Talking Zone, School Based Counselling service. In partnership with Newport City Council, Talking Zone provides counselling to children in Gwent schools. The successful candidate would be expected to work on Newport campus for part of the week.
ResponsibilitiesThis role will suit someone who has excellent attention to detail, time management and organisational skills. You will be an effective communicator. Ideally, you would also be familiar with university/college administration settings, as well as Office 365, including SharePoint and Excel. On the job Induction training will be provided.
Role DetailsThis is a part-time post, (Grade C, Spine 14) – 0.40 FTE (14.8 hrs/week, 2.5 days) per week. The 0.40
FTE role with Talking Zone is funded by Newport City Council. The contract end date is 31st July 2026 and subject to a successful probationary period.
If you are a successful external candidate for this position, you will be employed by Professional and Support Services Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of South Wales, which provides services to the University and Colleges.
