An opportunity has arisen for a full‑time Homefinder Officer, currently based in Ty Sardis, Pontypridd. This is a full‑time role working 37 hours per week.
Salary: Grade 7, £31,022 per annum.
Homefinder is a busy service working in partnership with 11 different Housing Associations and providing social housing in RCT. As a Homefinder Officer you will process applications for housing in accordance with the current Allocation Scheme and work with the Housing Associations to help let their properties via the HomefinderRCT website.
Responsibilities- Process housing applications and manage the allocation of properties.
- Collaborate with 11 Housing Associations to facilitate lettings through the HomefinderRCT platform.
- Promote an effective, efficient and customer‑focused service to all applicants and housing partners.
- Maintain knowledge of housing legislation and apply it to daily activities.
- Protect children and vulnerable adults as a core responsibility of all staff.
- Complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
