Occupational Therapist – HousingSalary:
Grade 11, £42,839 per annum
Hours: 37 hours

Sardis House, Pontypridd
An exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist is available within the Housing team to deliver comprehensive, person-centred occupational therapy services to promote independence, wellbeing, and inclusion for applicants and their households seeking rehousing across Rhondda Cynon Taf.
The post holder will work with the Homefinder service and the Common Housing Register partners to assess the adaptation needs of applicants seeking rehousing.
The post holder will work with the Homefinder service and the Common Housing Register partners to assess the suitability of properties offered. Determining if the property will meet the needs of the applicant and their household and to make recommendations for minor adaptations if required.
The post holder will also make recommendations to the Homefinder service and the Common Housing Register partners regarding the suitability of new build properties at the planning / development stage of the build.
The post holder will manage a defined caseload, working flexibly and collaboratively with individuals and partner agencies using specialist assessment, evidence-based interventions, and robust risk management processes.
