7.5T Delivery Driver

Steer Staffing are currently recruiting for 7.5 tonne Delivery Drivers, to join a distribution and delivery company based in Cardiff.

You will be delivering customers orders to their houses and office sites, working with a Drivers Mate to support you on all deliveries. Route plans are put together for your day, and your vehicle is pre‑loaded each morning.

The shifts are 5 days on and 3 days off, on a rota basis, with two 30‑minute breaks, morning and afternoon.

A DBS check will be required for this role.

• Lifting heavy items and completing a multi‑drop driving role
• Ensuring the right products get to the right places at the right time
• Following a delivery route
• Pre‑calling customers before arrival
• Filling in paperwork as and when required
• Removing all packaging from each delivery

• Experience with in a similar role
• CPC and TACO
• 7.5 ton licence or above
• The ability to handle heavy goods
• A clean DBS

The hours of work for the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver are 5 days on 3 days off. The working days cover any 5 over Monday – Sunday; you must be available to work between the hours of 7.00am – 6.15pm.

The salary for the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver will be £14.28 per hour; any hours over 45 will be paid at time and a half.
