About the Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in supporting our client’s warehouse operations. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including picking and packing orders, ensuring efficiency in the goods handling process, and maintaining the warehouse’s cleanliness and organisation. This position offers a fantastic Monday to Friday daytime schedule, with weekend overtime available, allowing for both work-life balance and the opportunity to earn extra income.

Key Responsibilities

Picking: Accurately select items from designated storage locations based on pick lists. Your attention to detail is vital to ensure the correct items are selected for each order, contributing to customer satisfaction.

Packing: Carefully and securely pack items into appropriate packaging materials, following specific guidelines to prevent damage during transit. Quality control is essential, as your work directly impacts the quality of products reaching our customers.

Goods Handling: Assist with the receipt, unloading, and storage of incoming goods. Ensure that all goods are handled with care and stored in their designated locations, ready for efficient order fulfilment. Physical fitness is important, as you may be required to lift and move heavy items.

Labelling: Apply accurate and clear labels to packages, ensuring efficient sorting and delivery. Attention to detail is crucial to avoid any misplacement of items and to facilitate smooth operations.

Warehouse Organisation: Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised warehouse environment. Your efforts will include sweeping, removing debris, and disposing of waste materials according to company protocols. A well-organised warehouse is key to operational efficiency.

Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including wearing appropriate protective equipment and following safe working practices. Report any potential hazards or near misses to the relevant personnel, ensuring a safe workplace for all team members.

Collaboration:

Work closely with other team members to ensure the smooth running of warehouse operations. Effective communication and teamwork are essential to achieving our collective goals.

Working Hours

Nights: 12am-10am
