Are you an organised and motivated administrator looking for a rewarding role in healthcare? We are seeking a Team Administrator to support our Facilities Team in delivering a high-quality service across our organisation.
You'll be based at Alderney Hospital, Poole, with occasional travel to St Ann's Hospital. The role is full time Monday to Friday, but we accept part‑time applications with a minimum of 30 hours over four days. Shift times are flexible and can be discussed at interview.
You will have strong administrative skills, experience in finance‑related tasks (processing orders and invoices), and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Confidence in IT skills, database use and Microsoft Office, and accurate minute taking are essential.
Main duties- Provide an efficient, timely filing system (paper and electronic) including archiving of records.
- Involve in induction and training of new staff members.
- Organise and prioritise routine and non‑routine workload, liaising and communicating with colleagues to maintain a team approach.
- Have input into developing, organising and implementing new office procedures and improvements to the service.
- Undertake any other duties as advised by the Admin Co‑ordinator and team managers.
Employment requires a DBS check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.
Qualifications- GCSE level or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience arranging meetings and minute taking.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Administration or Customer Service.
- Knowledge of data protection and patient confidentiality.
- Demonstrable written and spoken English to a standard enabling the full range of duties.
- Experience of working in an administrative role within a fast‑paced environment or within the NHS in a similar role.
- Experience of using Microsoft Office (Outlook, word processing and spreadsheets).
- Accurate, fast typing and keyboard skills.
Full clean driving licence and own transport are essential for this role. Ability to travel using own vehicle on Trust business is required.
