Brownsea Ward Clerk

Brownsea Ward is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Ward Clerk to join us.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple administrative tasks throughout the day, frequently communicating with the multidisciplinary team, patients, and relatives.
  • Book patients’ follow‑up appointments and manage patient lists.
  • Welcome patients and visitors to the ward, answer appropriate questions, provide relevant information in a sensitive manner, and refer to qualified members of the team as necessary.
  • Undertake clerical and administrative duties on behalf of the ward.

Person Specification
  • Experience working in healthcare and in administration.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of NHS systems.
  • Experience with UHD clinical systems.
